We will be holding a workshop on Learning from Each Other: How Does Your Governing Board Work?
What is the structure of your GB? What is its size? How do you recruitment new governors? Do you have committees, if you do what are they? What time are your meetings? How many meetings do you have per term? Do you have an away day with or without senior staff. How often do governors go into school? Anything else?
What is your induction system for new governors?
Do you have link governors? What type? Do you have a form for governors to fill in about their link visit? How often do they meet with the staff member they are linked to? Anything else?
